"gillette comfort blades"?

Can't find any such animal at local Smallgreens. What fits the HeadBlade? Headblade site points to a 3-yr old press release on Gillette site.

takes you to an amazon page....

anyway that's the stuff. It points to a 4 year old press release, cause it's a 4 year old blade =)

hope gillette doesn't phase em out.

Sounds like they already have, if I can't find it in the local store. Are these from Mexico or something?

Maybe I should Fimo my own head-handle that fits Mach3 blades.

hmmmn, I dunno, I didn't have any troubles finding em last time I looked, of course that was a while ago. you could always buy em directly from headblade 20 blades/ 17.49

dunno if the mach3 would work, it seems to pivot differently

Ahh! I see now. Headblade is cheaper on Amazon than on Headblade site.

Nifty thing, but a little extra hype. I haven't even tried it yet. I just need replacement blades for the handle that was left in my bathroom by someone who didn't like it.

They repackage the Atra Plus blades with a markup. But it's the only way to get the adaptor when they wear out.

I wonder if the $75 version can take currently popular blades.

heh....interesting thing about that headblade.....I think I bought it last year for the person who didn't like it.

Actually, according to them, you can also get the adaptors from a factory in Germany. I've been using a headblade since late 2003, and I've only changed out the adaptor once, and that doesn't really count, it was the headblade that broke.

If you can't find any blades anywhere, maybe I can bring one by when we finally get around to touching up my ink.

How come I haven't heard of these things? I'm using a regular Mach3 fer my head and face.

Tried using my electric ONCE on my head and the vibrations actually gave me a splitting headache....just a word of warning.

                no idea,

but yeah....www.headblade.com, on the other hand, I have no problems using the electric on my head, the blades just need cleaning more often. In fact, since I'm so crazy with school I'm going about 2 weeks between shaves, so rather than dulling out the headblade, I take the wahl razor to knock it all down first.

I'll also use the regular electric to do touch ups as I notice missed spots etc.

My plan is to keep it down to the velvet of the ungarded wahl, except for special occasions when I use a blade. Like make-up costumes or kink dates.

found some Atra Plus at Walgreens Castro.

In the store, it was the reverse price: 10 blades for 12.49

      :(

But anyway, I get to try the Headblade handle now.

I'd prefer to keep mine smooth, but I just don't have the time for the daily shavings right now, so it just happens for social occasions etc.

As for the price on the atra blades, just remember, you didn't have to pay shipping =)

let us know what you think of the headblade!

It outperformed a bare blade in my hand.
          It outperformed a dull Mach3.

Maybe my hair was too long, but I had to pound the blade clean under the water after each stroke. I can see why the adapters wear-out.

When I decide to blade-shave down from a velvet fuzz, I'll just use a regular Mach3.

          Ya wannit?
